She worked for nearly 10 years in the print media in various Arab newspapers in Algeria, the latest of which was the daily Al-Khabar. She has an IPMA Level D project management certificate from VZPM Switzerland. After moving to Geneva, Mrs. Lamia worked in the field of human rights and collaborated with a large number of Swiss human rights organizations. She has also been actively involved in dozens of activities and events at the Human Rights Council. Her work focused on the rights of women and children, refugee rights, and issues related to armed conflict in the Middle East and North Africa region

Ms Saydaminova is a holder of LL.B in International Law and LL.M from University of Oxfordin In Ms ternational Human Rights Law. LL.B in International Law University of World Economy and Diplomacy MFA School (UZ). She served within the UN rapid response deployment to the Humanitarian Team on legal protection of civilians in the armed conflict in Ukraine. Moreover, she has contributed to human rights protection of ethnic minorities and rehabilitation in the post-conflict Balkans during her seconded assignments in the Missions of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). In addition, Ms Saydaminova worked at the Geneva office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Warsaw. Previously, she worked as Senior Human Rights Researcher at several human rights NGO based in Geneva.

Deeply dedicated person, she has an overall experience of 9 years working in national and international environments namely within Geneva-based organizations in her chosen areas of translation, editing, research, and language training. She has a keen interest in the MENA region human rights issues as well as a thorough understanding of its historical, cultural and social features.
